Turning In an iPad

(Appointments are no longer neccesary)

iPads are issued to staff to use in a professional manner while employed by Birdville ISD.  When an employee resigns they must make arrangements to relinquish possession of the iPad as is stated in the User Agreement:

I understand that my assigned iPad remains the property of Birdville ISD at all times.  Upon leaving the district I will return my iPad to the BISD Technology Department located at 3126 Carson St. Haltom City, TX 76117 (Appointments are no longer neccesary).

Preparing to Turn-in an iPad

  • Back up all Photos and Videos
    • Option 1 – email Pictures and Video to self
    • Option 2 – backup to a cloud services such as Dropbox
    • Option 3 – connect iPad to computer via USB and copy files to the computer
  • Back up all Files
    • Option 1 – Items created in Apps such as Notes, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote can all be stored in iCloud
    • Option 2 – Items created in Apps such as Notes, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote can all be emailed to self

Turning In an iPad

  • Please bring your iPad & Charger to the Technology Department to turn in the iPad at our location: 3126 Carson St. Haltom City, TX 76117
  • Please ensure the following is complete before turning in your device:
    • Verify that all email accounts have been deleted
    • Verify that iCloud is turned off and Find My iPad is disabled 
    • Verify that you bring your Charger and Charging cable
    • You will be given a receipt (below)

  • Please come in during regular business hours 8:00 AM-4:00 PM (closed on Fridays during the summer) (Appointments are no longer necessary)
