BISD Password Requirements

If you are creating a new password, or resetting your current one, it must contain the following:

  Minimum Password Length: 8 Characters

Password CANNOT Contain:

  • The user's account name - for example, John Smith cannot have a password that contains either "john" or "smith"
  • The user's login ID/ username.

  Password MUST Contain: Characters from three of the following four categories:

  • English uppercase characters (A through Z)
  • English lowercase characters (a through z)
  • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
  • Non-alphabetic characters (for example, !, $, #, %)

  Password History: Cannot be the same as your previous 5 passwords

Complexity requirements are enforced when passwords are changed or created

Remember, after completing the password change process and logging into your computer, you will need to use your new password to log into BISD applications such as Eduphoria, Webmail, Google, Office 365, Compass, Stemscopes.  You will also need to update the password used on mobile devices for Email & WiFi.

  You will be prompted with the following screen:

Click OK and you will be brought to this screen:

*For password security, you must use a BISD PC desktop computer or laptop to make the change. Password changes cannot be made via webmail, VPN, on a Apple computer, or a mobile device.

iPad Airwatch Agent

In order to comply with our iPad security software and have the ability to continue downloading apps on your iPad, you MUST update your password in the Agent app.

Launch the Agent and Logout:
