Taking Screenshots in Windows 7

If you would like to take a screenshot of what your desktop monitor, simply hit the Print Screen (PrtScn) button on your keyboard and paste the desired image into the Paint application. From there, you can save the file to your desktop as an image file and attach it to any document or email that you like.



Taking screenshots and sharing them with the Help Desk or your Technician is a very effective way of communicating the exact problem that occurs on your machine. This is particularly helpful with problems that are inconsistent and difficult to replicate at will.
