Cannot Type In Microsoft Office Applications

If you are unable to see yourself type in any of the Microsoft Office 2013 applications, please follow these instructions for turning off Graphics Acceleration.

 

1. Open Microsoft Word 2013 and create a blank document.

2. Next, click Options in the following screen:

3. As seen in the window below, select Advanced in the left pane. Then in the right pane, scroll down and look for Disable hardware graphics acceleration under the section Display. Check this option and select OK.

4. If you use the SMARTboard software, select Add-ins in the left pane. At the bottom of the window, Select Go... out to the right of COM Add-ins. If you have the SmartInk add in checked, uncheck the box and select okay.
