You have two options to sign in to your Yealink desk phone:


Option #1: Login from a separate device (your laptop or your phone) using a randomly generated code, or


Option #2: Log in directly on the desk phone screen




OPTION #1: Get a code to sign in on your laptop or smartphone



(touch the phone screen to wake it up if needed)


1. Get a new login code: Press the "Refresh code" blue button on the phone screen to get a new code*


2. Go to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin on your laptop or smartphone and enter the new code


*If the phone does not give you a new code:

  1. Try a soft reset by unplugging and plugging back in the network cable on the back of the phone. 
  2. If that does not work, you will need to do a factory reset. See the directions below: 
    1. Press the purple "Teams" key/button on the phone keypad to make sure the phone is awake
    2. Press the '*' and the '#' keys at the same time for six seconds
    3. Press OK when prompted
    4. The phone will restart, and the screen with the "Refresh Code" blue button will appear. 
    5. Press the "Refresh Code" button to get a new code
    6. Go to microsoft.com/device login to enter your code

New code on phone to enter at microsoft.com/devicelogin

2. If it has been more than 90 days since you last had to authenticate your login, you may be promoted to have an authentication code sent to you via text, call, or the Microsoft Authenticator IOS or Android smartphone app, etc. 




3. After all steps are complete, select your account, and you should be successfully logged into your phone.




OPTION #2: Sign in directly on the desk phone


(touch the phone screen to wake it up if needed)


1. Get a new login code: Press the "Refresh code" blue button on the phone screen to get a new code*

Go to https://microsoft.com/devicelogin on your laptop or smartphone and enter the new code


*If the phone does not give you a new code:

  1. Try a soft reset by unplugging and plugging back in the network cable on the back of the phone. 
  2. If that does not work, you will need to do a factory reset. See the directions below: 
    1. Press the purple "Teams" key/button on the phone keypad to make sure the phone is awake
    2. Press the '*' and the '#' keys at the same time for six seconds

    6. Go to microsoft.com/device login to enter your code



2. Below the new code, touch "sign in on this device"


3. The onscreen keyboard will prompt you to enter your district email 



4. If it has been more than 90 days since you last had to authenticate your login, you may be promoted to have an authentication code sent via text, call, or the Microsoft Authenticator IOS or Android smartphone app, etc. 





SIGN OUT OF YOUR DESK PHONE


1. In the upper right-hand corner of the device home screen, touch the Profile icon containing your initials.





2. Select Settings.



3. Scroll to the bottom of the menu, and select Sign Out.
