There are two different ways to use the app. Push Notifications or Verification Code.

NOTE: You will need both a computer and your mobile phone to setup this feature.

NOTE: Please DO NOT use Desk Phone for an authentication method.



STEP 1


On a computer, navigate to portal.office.com then select Sign In.





STEP 2


Enter your district email address, then select Next.





STEP 3


Enter your district computer credentials, then select Sign In.


Example:

Username: b01234

Password: district computer password





STEP 4


Select Next.





STEP 5


For the contact method, select Mobile app.

Select your preferred mobile app method, then select Setup.




STEP 6


If you have not already, on your mobile phone download the Microsoft Authenticator app from your devices application store.

STEP 7


Open the Microsoft Authenticator app, then select Add.





STEP 8


Select Work or School Account, then select Scan QR Code.







STEP 9


Use your mobile phones camera to scan the QR code displayed on the computer screen, then select Next.







STEP 10



On your mobile phone when prompted select Approve to approve sign-in.








STEP 11


On the computer select the country, enter your mobile phone number for backup and recovery of account, then select Next.







STEP 12


Select Done.
