Windows 10 has added the ability to have multiple desktops running off of the same computer. These are what are known as "Virtual Desktops." If you typically have more than three windows up at a time, this feature will help to keep your open windows organized.
To begin, you will need to bring up the Task View menu which is located at the bottom left hand side of your taskbar. You can also access it by pressing the Windows key + Tab.
Clicking it will bring up a new menu where you can view open windows and any virtual desktops that you have created. If you are opening the Task View menu for the first time, you will need to click the “Add a desktop” button.
You can now operate each window as if it was its own individual computer. To switch between machines, go back to the Task View or hold the Ctrl + Windows Button and press left or right on your arrow keys.
