If the display on your Cisco desk phone has gone blank but you can still receive and place calls, here is a quick way to bring the screen back:
On the back of the phone there is a network cable going into a port labeled "SW".
Unplug that cable, wait 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. Within a minute, the phone will reboot and the display will return to normal.
