2. Click on "Courses" on the left Global Menu [1]

3. Then click on the course name you would like to open [2]

OR click "Dashboard" on the Global Menu and then on the course card for the course you would like to view

3. Click on the name of a course or a course card to view a specific course.

The Canvas Course Interface

  • The left Global Navigation menu with the icons on the left helps you get to where you want to go across all of your Canvas courses [1].

  • The Course Navigation with "Home," etc. helps you get to where you want to go within a Canvas course [2].

  • In the example below "ENG 205 > Modules" [3] tells you which course you are in and what section.

  • You can view Assignments and To-Do's on the right [4]
