STEP 1
To adjust power and sleep settings in Windows 11, go to Start
- Select Settings > System.
Then Select > Power & battery.
STEP 2
Under Screen and sleep, select how long you want your device to wait before turning the screen off when you're not using your device plugged in or unplugged.
STEP 3
Search Lid in the windows search bar and click to open the Control panel.
Under the Battery Column, choose Do Nothing. This will prevent the laptop from going to sleep when you close the lid after connecting it to a monitor or dock.
