PROBLEM

Some users have reported issues where unexpected contacts have shown up in their Teams contact lists. This happens when Teams pulls contacts from a user’s personal Outlook contacts when synchronized with the same Microsoft Office 365 account.

WORKAROUND

Unfortunately, there is no way to prevent this automatic synch between Teams and Outlook. However, there is a workaround to help users remove these personal contacts from their Outlook contacts, and in turn they will be removed from Teams.

STEP 1

On your Apple iPhone/iPad, navigate to Settings > Mail > Accounts. Select your Birdville email account then select Delete Account.

STEP 2

On your computer, login to your Microsoft 365 account.
