BISD students are each provided with a free "First Time" Chromebook and charger replacement. If this is the second time a student has damaged or lost a Chromebook, instructions for claiming a fee issued replacement can be found here: https://helpdesk.birdvilleschools.net/support/solutions/articles/13000065768-paying-for-student-chromebook-loss-damage


If a student has damaged or lost a device and needs to receive their free-of-charge replacement, they will need to claim it in order to receive a replacement device. This process is done by visiting the BISD payment portal and selecting Student Chromebooks from the menu.

An account on our payment portal is required to process the replacement and you will need to verify that you have signed into it by clicking the login button at the top-right. You can also go here to create an account:



Next, you will need to select the "First Time" option from the left-hand menu that applies to your specific type of replacement needed. Please note that their is an item for Chromebooks and separate item for Chromebook chargers. 



After selecting the item needing to be replaced, please enter the student's last name and ID number to verify the correct recipient. Complete the Home Campus & Guardian Name fields and then select Add to Cart. You will then be walked through the final steps requiring you to confirm the free transaction, but no payment info will be required.


PLEASE NOTE: A receipt will be emailed to you based on the address you used to create your account. Please print this receipt and have the student bring it to their campus in order to facilitate the process of confirming the payment and receiving a replacement device.
